FAQs

How many watts do I need for my grow space?

The wattage depends on the size of your grow tent or room. A general guideline is 30-50 watts per square foot for high-light plants like cannabis. For example, a 2x2 ft area may need 100-200W, while a 4x4 ft area may require 400-600W for optimal coverage.

What is the difference between full-spectrum and red/blue LED grow lights?

Full-spectrum LED lights mimic natural sunlight, providing a balanced mix of blue (for vegetative growth) and red (for flowering and fruiting) light. Red/blue LED lights focus on specific wavelengths but may not support plants as effectively as full-spectrum lights.

Low Ceiling, High Yields

My grow tent has a low ceiling, and the Tomahawk is a lifesaver. The light gets plenty close to the canopy without burning the plants, thanks to the reflectors. Seems to be efficient too – haven't noticed a huge jump in my electricity bill.

Efficient Grow Power

Upgraded to the Tomahawk from a bulkier light, and I'm impressed. The open design allows for much better airflow, which keeps my grow tent cooler. Plants seem happy and healthy, and I'm using less electricity – win-win!
