Precision Grow Lighting—HLG Scorpion Diablo X’s Integrated Reflectors Improve PPFD at All Grow Levels
High-output full-spectrum power built to drive serious yields indoors.
For growers who demand high-intensity, high-efficiency lighting, the HLG Scorpion Diablo X delivers exceptional canopy coverage and deep penetration. Featuring 6 advanced Diablo Quantum Boards, this powerful fixture ensures even light distribution across tents, flood tables, rolling benches, and vertical racks. With an output of 2145 PPF and an efficacy of 3.06 µmol/J, it maximizes photosynthetic efficiency for superior yields. Integrated reflectors enhance photon delivery, improving growth at all canopy levels while minimizing wasted light.
Is the HLG Scorpion Diablo X Energy-Efficient?
Absolutely. While HPS fixtures struggle at 1.3–1.7 µmol/J, this fixture delivers 3.06 µmol/J, ensuring higher yields per watt and lower energy costs. Running at 0-715W, it optimizes efficiency and output, making it a top-tier choice for serious growers. FAQs
How many watts do I need for my grow space?
The wattage depends on the size of your grow tent or room. A general guideline is 30-50 watts per square foot for high-light plants like cannabis. For example, a 2x2 ft area may need 100-200W, while a 4x4 ft area may require 400-600W for optimal coverage.
What is the difference between full-spectrum and red/blue LED grow lights?
Full-spectrum LED lights mimic natural sunlight, providing a balanced mix of blue (for vegetative growth) and red (for flowering and fruiting) light. Red/blue LED lights focus on specific wavelengths but may not support plants as effectively as full-spectrum lights.
This lamp works wonders whether you're growing vertically or horizontally. The redesigned reflector ensures that my taller plants get enough light without compromising the lower ones. Truly spectacular.

Light for Low-Ceiling Growers
My basement grow room has a low ceiling, and the Diablo X is a lifesaver. The design allows for close mounting without burning the plants, and the reflectors ensure even light distribution. Very happy with this light so far!
So far just starting a run, but all is well. I’m playing with the light height and intensity as the run progresses. Easy setup no issues a solid light. I’ve owned dozens of grow lights over decades of growing HGL 350 appears to be on par with the others I’ve owned and still do.
Dulytek presses are outright dangerous, missing crucial pieces can lead to serious injury. I had missing washers on top of cage springs that launched the nuts and clips like bullets.
Very happy with the product. Would definitely recommend over the cheap tents you get what you pay for. Just set it up and about to start germinating my seeds.
