Delivers high-output lighting with 9000K spectrum for faster rooting and healthier starts.

The FloraFlex 18W Clone LED is built to give young plants the right spectrum for strong root development and early growth. With a 9000K color temperature, 46.8 µmol/s output, and 2.6 µmol/J efficiency, these lightweight strips deliver the intensity your clones need to transition smoothly into veg. Each box includes two 42.75-inch strips designed for easy use in clone racks or propagation shelves.

Designed with water-resistant housing and simple daisy chain capability, these LEDs are practical, efficient, and scalable. Up to 100 strips can run on a 20-amp circuit, with two strips recommended per shelf for balanced coverage. Installation is simple with the built-in zip tie slot, making it easy for both hobby and commercial growers to set up reliable propagation lighting.

Is the FloraFlex 18W Clone LED energy-efficient?

At 2.6 µmol/J, this LED plants grow light is more efficient than older fluorescent T5s or compact fluorescents, which typically range between 0.8–1.2 µmol/J. That means you get more usable light for every watt, reducing wasted energy while giving clones exactly what they need to thrive.

FAQs

How many watts do I need for my grow space?

The wattage depends on the size of your grow tent or room. A general guideline is 30-50 watts per square foot for high-light plants like cannabis. For example, a 2x2 ft area may need 100-200W, while a 4x4 ft area may require 400-600W for optimal coverage.

What is the difference between full-spectrum and red/blue LED grow lights?

Full-spectrum LED lights mimic natural sunlight, providing a balanced mix of blue (for vegetative growth) and red (for flowering and fruiting) light. Red/blue LED lights focus on specific wavelengths but may not support plants as effectively as full-spectrum lights.
