Cut energy use and control humidity precisely with a dehumidifier engineered for high-volume grow operations.

The Quest 506 Grow Dehumidifier is built for large-scale cultivation, hydroponics, and controlled agricultural facilities, delivering 500 pints per day of moisture removal at an industry-leading 9.2 pints per kilowatt hour (at 80°F, 60% RH).

Designed for 277V or 208/230V power compatibility, this model allows direct installation into existing electrical setups without needing costly buck-boost transformers or rewiring. Its low amp draw frees up electricity for lighting, ventilation, and automation systems, making it the smartest choice for energy-conscious operations.

With patented M-CoRR™ Technology, onboard digital controls, and a streamlined, space-saving design, the Quest 506 is built to maximize efficiency, reduce excess heat, and maintain precise humidity control—no compromises, no wasted power.

Freestanding Unit

The Quest 506 Dehumidifier must be installed indoors in a dry, flood-protected space. Place it on a stable, level surface with enough clearance for maintenance. Ensure the unit is positioned at least 6 inches above the secondary drain pan for proper drainage and P-trap installation.

Overhead Dehumidifier

The unit can be mounted overhead using 3/8" threaded rods attached to structural supports. It must not be suspended from the sides or ends. If installed in the air, use the included plugs to cover base pan holes for stability and proper sealing.

P-Trap Requirements

A P-trap with a 2-inch water seal is required to prevent air from being drawn through the condensate drain. The drain line should have a downward slope, with an open vent positioned 4 inches above the trap to avoid airlocks. Ensure the unit is elevated 6 inches above the drain pan for proper clearance.

FAQs

What is the ideal humidity level for bud growth, and how can a humidifier help?

Seedlings thrive at 60-70% RH, vegging plants prefer 40-50% RH, and flowering needs 30-40% RH. A dehumidifier helps dial in these levels, preventing mold, mildew, and bud rot while keeping your plants healthy and maximizing yield.

What size dehumidifier do I need for my grow setup?

It depends on your grow tent or room size and how much moisture you need to pull. A 30-pint unit is great for small setups, while 50+ pint models work better for larger spaces. If you're running a big operation, go for a high-capacity unit with a built-in humidistat for full control.
