LED grow lights for flowering are engineered for crops in their peak reproductive phase. Red and far-red wavelengths dominate here, boosting bud and fruit development while supporting photoperiod needs.
These bloom red lights are commonly used in grow tents and commercial rows due to their deep canopy penetration and efficiency. Growers aiming for maximum yield without sacrificing quality will benefit from lighting that aligns with upper DLI recommendations.

View full detailsDuring flowering, buds benefit from a red-heavy spectrum, which encourages budding and helps maximize yields. However, a full-spectrum light, which includes some blue, white, and other wavelengths, more closely mimics sunlight and produces healthier, higher-quality buds.
You can, but it's not recommended. While red light promotes flowering, using only red limits the plant’s access to other beneficial wavelengths like blue, green, and cyan. Full-spectrum lights or red lights combined with warm/cool white LEDs produce better results by providing a broader range of usable light.
Yes. Running all available LEDs creates a fuller light spectrum, closer to natural sunlight. This helps the plant develop more balanced growth and maximizes yield. Even during flowering, plants still use some blue and other wavelengths, not just red.
Red and blue combinations (sometimes called “blurples”) can support flowering but miss key parts of the light spectrum, like green and yellow. While you may still grow decent buds, modern full-spectrum LED lights (including white light) generally outperform blurple setups in both yield and quality.
The fan seems well designed and built. The design allowed installation in hard duct work w/o needing a flex section. Not necessary in most installations, but important in mine. Whisper quiet at low speeds. Pleased to discover that the speed control returned to the last selected speed after a power failure.

So far just starting a run, but all is well. I’m playing with the light height and intensity as the run progresses. Easy setup no issues a solid light. I’ve owned dozens of grow lights over decades of growing HGL 350 appears to be on par with the others I’ve owned and still do.
Dulytek presses are outright dangerous, missing crucial pieces can lead to serious injury. I had missing washers on top of cage springs that launched the nuts and clips like bullets.
