The SolarSystem 550 by California Lightworks is designed as a high power veg and bloom light. It features OSRAM SSL LEDs and draws only 400 Watts. It easily replaces a 600 watt HPS light.

In flowering/bloom it has a 3 ft x 4 ft coverage area and for vegetative growth it can cover up to a 6 ft x 8 ft area.

Amazing Solar System 550

This is an amazing LED grow light. The light has the capability to adjust light spectrum for maximum results. It can be used alone with a timer or with the controller designed to operate one or many networked lights. Seasonal light spectrum, dawn and dusk gradual light and veg and bloom are all programmable with the controller. This is an easy to install, plug and play unit. The low heat output and energy consumption are a serious consideration for growers trying to reduce HPS lighting. Reduce or eliminate air conditioner use and no ducts or hoods. I really like that this wattage class works well in tight space or low ceiling areas and can be grouped to shape your footprint. I have had great support from the CLW techs on light settings and continue to communicate with them when I have questions.
