The SolarSystem 1100 by California Lightworks is designed as a high power veg and bloom light.

It features OSRAM SSL LEDs and draws 800 watts at maximum output. It easily replaces a 1000 watt HPS light.

In flowering/bloom it has a 4 ft x 4 ft coverage area and for vegetative growth it can cover up to a 8 ft x 8 ft area.

For fans of the discontinued SolarSystem 880, there is a UVB version of the SolarSystem 1100 available that combines it with two SolarSystem UVB bars (those bars are also sold separately here).

Solar System 1100

This is California Light Works flagship grow light and it deserves consideration by anyone looking for serious grow lighting. This light pumps out so much light I had to run it on a LightRail light mover. What a wonderful combination, made for each other. The LED controller, (not included), is a must have if you’re serious....not only to set times and spectrum, I used it at 75% to get thru a hot spell. The results were spectacular with everything in that light path getting fat and heavy. I did have to put bonnets, (2” squares of floating cover), on several grow tops that showed light stress, even with the mover. This is a big light and covers a big footprint. I really like this 1100 and love the 550s.
