The DE Adjust-A-Wing Hellion Reflector is extremely flexible, giving you an unprecedented level of control with an HID reflector.
The tension wires and special lamp holder allow you to choose between 9 different wing widths and 5 different lamp heights (position of the lamp inside the reflector). This means always getting the optimal light transferal and coverage area, no matter what type of bulb is in the reflector.
You can widen the wing and lower it incredibly close to the plants to maximize light transferal (growing power) and get a large coverage area. Or you can narrow the wings and hang the light higher to accommodate more sensitive plants or stages of growth when plants need less powerful light.
The Hellion comes with a free spreader that diffuses the light, allowing you to hang the fixture much closer. The special adjustable features of the Hellion combined with the spreader, give you an extremely consistent light spread over the coverage area and they significantly reduce leaf temperature.
If you don't need adjustable wings, you can get a DE reflector with fixed wings and save money.
