The Photontek VF 120W LED grow light delivers optimized PPFD and high efficiency for clones, seedlings, and vertical farming, ensuring strong, uniform plant development.
Optimize cloning and early growth with precise, energy-efficient full-spectrum lighting for low-PPFD plants.
When it comes to propagation and early plant growth, precision lighting is everything. The Photontek VF 120W LED is engineered for clones, seedlings, and low-PPFD crops, delivering a balanced 4000K white and 3000K warm white spectrum for strong root development and uniform growth. With four 30W LED bars, this fixture pushes 308 µmol/s PPF at an efficient 2.4 µmol/J, making it ideal for vertical farms, nurseries, climate-controlled environments, and propagation setups.
Is the Photontek VF 120W LED Energy-Efficient?
At 2.4 µmol/J, this low-power, high-output LED fixture ensures every watt directly benefits plant growth. While propagation lighting operates differently than flowering LEDs, the VF 120W’s optimized spectrum and efficiency make it a superior alternative to fluorescent and lower-end LED options. Combined with a dimmable driver or universal controller, it delivers precise light control to accelerate growth cycles while keeping operating costs low.

FAQs
How many watts do I need for my grow space?
The wattage depends on the size of your grow tent or room. A general guideline is 30-50 watts per square foot for high-light plants like cannabis. For example, a 2x2 ft area may need 100-200W, while a 4x4 ft area may require 400-600W for optimal coverage.
What is the difference between full-spectrum and red/blue LED grow lights?
Full-spectrum LED lights mimic natural sunlight, providing a balanced mix of blue (for vegetative growth) and red (for flowering and fruiting) light. Red/blue LED lights focus on specific wavelengths but may not support plants as effectively as full-spectrum lights.
So far just starting a run, but all is well. I’m playing with the light height and intensity as the run progresses. Easy setup no issues a solid light. I’ve owned dozens of grow lights over decades of growing HGL 350 appears to be on par with the others I’ve owned and still do.
Dulytek presses are outright dangerous, missing crucial pieces can lead to serious injury. I had missing washers on top of cage springs that launched the nuts and clips like bullets.
Very happy with the product. Would definitely recommend over the cheap tents you get what you pay for. Just set it up and about to start germinating my seeds.
