There are shockingly few options when it comes to micro grow tents, and finding them takes forever, because online stores don't let you sort by size.
I spent almost a week researching to compile a list of the smallest tents available on the market. I whittled the list down to the 6 best.
Some of these tents are on this list because they are short. Others are taller, but take up little floor space. The short ones are especially well-suited as clone grow tents. The taller ones are ideal for single-plant grow tents.
LED Lighting is also a real challenge for small tents, as most lights are at least 4 feet long, so there are only a handful of lights that we will recommend below.
This is the smallest tent on this list and also the shortest, at under 3 feet. The next shortest tent is exactly 3 feet (the next one on the list below). It has just enough space for propagation and cloning trays, as well as grow lights. The best lights for the Mini Clone Box are LED bars or Fluorescent lights. In a tent this short, a metal halide would get way too hot and would burn the plants.

The Hydro Shoot 60 measures 2 feet by 2 feet and is 5 feet 3 inches tall. It is the tallest of the small tents, so you would need to remove the shelves from most closets to make this one work. That said, it's easily the highest quality tent on this list. Secret Jardin is one of the top grow tent manufacturers, known for its high-quality (and expensive) tents. The Hydro Shoot line is their collection of entry-level tents.
This means you can get Secret Jardin's high quality at an entry-level price. The reason Hydro Shoot tents cost less is that Secret Jardin sacrificed features that most home growers don't need. These features include heavy-duty fabric, a large number of intakes and outlets, multiple windows, and sturdy hanging bars for heavy lighting.
The quality is still high, though. They use a robust 210D canvas fabric and a 95% reflective Mylar on the inside. The poles are all 0.63" thick Q195 galvanized steel. The Hydro Shoot 60 has one 12 by 8 inch mesh window (with a removable cover) and two 6" vents for intake and extraction. Hanging equipment for filters and lights is included, along with a removable, waterproof tray.
The recommended lighting for the HS60 is a 100- to 150-watt LED light. The Optic 1 XL is a great choice. Quality-wise, this is the best tent on this list by far and the one we recommend, unless you are just cloning or seeding (the previous two tents are best for that). There are definitely cheaper tents, but the price difference is not that great, and with the Hydro Shoot 60, you get much more value for your money.
This tent is another good single-plant grow room. It takes up the same floor space as the Secret Jardin one, but is 8 inches shorter, in case you don't quite have the ceiling space.
Quality-wise, it's definitely not on par with the Secret Jardin, but that is reflected in the lower price. That said, considering the price, it is still surprisingly well-made, with heavy-duty 600D lightproof and tear-proof material on the outside and an inside lined with 99% highly reflective Mylar.
This CoolGrows tent features four 7-inch ports for ventilation (two at the top and two at the bottom), a larger 9-inch port in the ceiling, and two 3-inch ports (one at the top and one at the bottom) for tubing and electrical access.
It also features three rectangular vents (two at 9.5" x 4.5" and one at 13" x 5") and a 14" x 16" viewing window.
The frame features strong metal bars and easy-click metal connectors. It easily supports an LED grow light or a fluorescent fixture.

The best clone light for a 2' x 2' tent is the T8 LED 15W 6500k, as it is just under 2' in length. Fluorescents like these are also great options for cloning 125W CFL Bulb, 200W CFL Bulb, and 6400K Cool White.
Finding the best small grow tents on the market wasn't easy. Online stores don't offer a way to sort their products by size, so I ended up creating a spreadsheet of almost a hundred small horticultural tents along with their dimension and then sorting that list by size.
It took about a week, but the result was a list of all the smallest tents available. Then it was just a matter of choosing the best, which was actually quite easy. Most tents simply aren't very good.
In the end, I went with the One Deal tent for my clones, but that doesn't mean it's the best of the six listed here. It was exactly what I needed. Hopefully, this list helps you find the perfect tiny tent for your plants as well.

So far just starting a run, but all is well. I’m playing with the light height and intensity as the run progresses. Easy setup no issues a solid light. I’ve owned dozens of grow lights over decades of growing HGL 350 appears to be on par with the others I’ve owned and still do.
Dulytek presses are outright dangerous, missing crucial pieces can lead to serious injury. I had missing washers on top of cage springs that launched the nuts and clips like bullets.
Very happy with the product. Would definitely recommend over the cheap tents you get what you pay for. Just set it up and about to start germinating my seeds.
