Freestanding Installation (On the Ground)

For ground installation, the Quest 335 dehumidifier must be placed on a stable, level surface and elevated at least 6 inches above the secondary drain pan for proper drainage. Use the included plugs to cover any hanging locations on top of the unit.

Overhead Installation

For overhead mounting, the unit can be securely installed using 3/8" threaded rods attached to structural supports. It should not be suspended from its sides or ends to prevent damage. When hanging the unit, cover base pan holes with the included plugs to maintain stability.

P-Trap Requirements

A P-trap with a 2-inch water seal is required to prevent air from being drawn through the condensate drain. The drain line should have a downward slope, with an open vent positioned 4 inches above the trap to avoid airlocks. Ensure the unit is elevated 6 inches above the drain pan for proper clearance.
