The NextLight Veg8 Pro replaces an 8 tube T5 fixture. It is more powerful, runs cooler and is much cheaper to operate. You will make your money back within the first year and save $340 every year after.

Get to Know the NextLight Veg8 Pro 210W Dimmable LED Grow Light

Get rid of that old 8-tube T5 fluorescent fixture.

Stop paying those high energy costs.

And stop paying for new bulbs every year, too.

The NextLight Veg8 LED grow light does everything the T5 fixture does, but better.

It is the perfect vegging light, and now you can switch to a lower-power clone mode, saving you money!

Designed to replace an 8-tube T5 unit perfectly, the Veg8 will save you $180/yr in energy costs and $160 in bulb changes over using the T5 fixture.

Not to mention the hassle of changing all those bulbs.

And now, it saves you even more.

Clones need far less power than vegging plants and NextLight designed the updated Veg 8 with that in mind. Flip the Switch and go from 160w veg mode to the 60w clone mode and save money.

Energy Efficient Design Saves You Money

The NextLight Veg8 Switch replaces an 8 tube T5 fluorescent fixture, but only consumes 190 watts in veg mode and 60 watts in clone mode and gives off minimal heat. By comparison, a typical 8 tube T5 fixture consumes 430 to 450 watts.

The NextLight Control Pro (NOT INCLUDED) can be added for more precise External Dimming Control (0-100%). Including: On/Off Timing, Sunrise/Sunset Programming and more. The NextLight Control Pro can control up to 500 NextLight Pro Series fixtures per controller (250 fixtures per channel).

For integration with most third-party 0-10V Controllers, see the NextLight Adapt Pro (NOT INCLUDED).

FAQs

How many watts do I need for my grow space?

The wattage depends on the size of your grow tent or room. A general guideline is 30-50 watts per square foot for high-light plants like cannabis. For example, a 2x2 ft area may need 100-200W, while a 4x4 ft area may require 400-600W for optimal coverage.

What is the difference between full-spectrum and red/blue LED grow lights?

Full-spectrum LED lights mimic natural sunlight, providing a balanced mix of blue (for vegetative growth) and red (for flowering and fruiting) light. Red/blue LED lights focus on specific wavelengths but may not support plants as effectively as full-spectrum lights.

I was a bit skeptical about getting the new Pro Veg8 since Nextlight moved manufacturing to China instead of their older generations being made in the USA. Luckily, my worries were unfounded. These new lights are vastly higher in quality than the 1st generation ones. The materials used, the engineering, and even the light output are all noticeably better. I'm very glad I decided to upgrade to the Pro series.

Coming from the 1st Gen Veg8

I'd been using the 1st generation Nextlight Veg8 for indoor growing of succulents and cacti plants since 2019. Even though they were still under warranty, after daily use from sunrise to sunset every day, I noticed the output was getting dimmer and a bit more yellow. So I decided to purchase 1 Veg8 Pro. I was initially skeptical as the older Nextlight fixtures were made in the USA and the new generation ones are made in China, but the results are speaking for themselves. This new generation is superior in just about every way. It's built better, there seem to be more diodes, the light output is very strong, it has a built-in dimmer feature, and (for me at least) one HUGE improvement over the first-gen Nextlight Veg8 is that this newer version has a removable power cord! All of these improvements and an even lower price than the 1st gen. Basically, these lights are a no-brainer for anyone needing a light that covers a 2x4 foot area.
