Cool tube hood reflectors are very versatile. You can use just the tubes or you can add the XL reflector wings to focus the light in one direction. This hood gives you a 5 by 5 coverage area.

Cool tube hoods are not as focused as cool hood reflectors (i.e. don't get quite the same canopy penetration), but they have a larger coverage area and usually cost a bit less. If you need an even larger coverage area, you'll want the XXL hood version instead.
