The HLG 320 Watt XL V2 RSpec DIY LED Grow Light Kit from Horticulture Lighting Group is a great way to get a high-quality American-made light for less. You simply have to assemble the components yourself, but it is surprisingly easy (see the video below).
Once assembled, you get a 600 watt HID equivalent light that that flowers a 2.5 by 5 foot space (two of these cover 5 by 5) with a powerful 3500K white light and 660 nm deep red. For vegging, it covers a 5 by 5 space.
NOTE: This kit is shipped disassembled and requires assembly before use.

Assembly Notes
No thermal interface material is required between the LED board and the heat sink.
Remove the black plug on top of driver and use a small Philips head screwdriver to adjust power.
NOTE: Boards should be wired in series with the driver for maximum output
