Power
When it comes to output, there is a considerable difference between the regular Dominator and the Dominator 2x.
What's the difference between the Dominator XL and the Dominator 2x XL?
The 2x XL uses two optical lenses, while the XL uses only one. Single lens LEDs spread light out horizontally and blend colors faster. You get lower PAR values, but the ability to hang the light closer to your plants. This makes them ideal for tents or where distance from light to canopy may be an issue.
The two optical lenses in the 2x doubles the lux intensity by concentrating light down on your plants. A higher intensity will provide more light further away from the fixture. You get higher PAR values, but the 2x version requires more distance from the canopy for intensity to decrease to natural levels before reaching your plants.
